Advertising Disclosure
Learn how advertising, sponsored placements and affiliate relationships are separated from RemittanceCalc editorial content and calculator results.
Last updated: August 28, 2026Advertising on RemittanceCalc
RemittanceCalc may display advertising from Google AdSense or other advertising networks, or may enter into direct advertising arrangements. Ads can appear near editorial content without being part of that content.
An advertisement does not automatically mean we recommend the advertiser, and the presence of an ad does not mean the advertiser reviewed or approved the page.
Editorial Independence
Our calculator methodology and editorial conclusions are intended to be developed independently from advertising sales. A company should not be able to purchase a better calculator result simply by buying advertising.
Provider comparisons should continue to use the same cost components—fees, exchange rates, payment method, payout method, recipient amount and timing—regardless of whether one of the companies advertises on the site.
Sponsored Content
If we publish content that is directly sponsored or paid for by a company, we aim to label the commercial relationship in a clear and reasonably prominent way. A sponsored label is intended to help readers distinguish paid material from ordinary editorial content.
Sponsorship does not remove the need to avoid false or misleading statements.
Affiliate Links
RemittanceCalc may use affiliate links in the future. If a user follows an affiliate link and completes a qualifying action, the site may receive compensation without necessarily changing the price paid by the user.
Where affiliate compensation creates a material connection that readers would reasonably want to know about, we aim to disclose it clearly. Affiliate compensation should not determine calculator formulas or create a guarantee that the linked provider is the cheapest option.
Google AdSense and Programmatic Advertising
We may use Google AdSense or related advertising products. Ad selection can be automated and may depend on page context, user choices, location, device information or other factors allowed by the advertising platform and applicable law.
Google and other advertising technology providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, security and, where consented to and permitted, personalization.
See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for additional information.
Advertiser Access to Editorial Decisions
Buying advertising does not give an advertiser a right to rewrite unrelated editorial content or suppress a legitimate correction. We may consider factual feedback from any company, but corrections should be based on evidence rather than commercial pressure.
Advertising and Privacy
Advertising services can involve data processing. Where required, consent controls should be used for advertising cookies or personalized advertising. Privacy disclosures are not a substitute for a functioning consent mechanism when one is legally or contractually required.
