Disclaimer
Read the RemittanceCalc disclaimer for calculator estimates, money transfer information, tax content and third-party provider references.
Last updated: August 28, 2026General Information Only
RemittanceCalc publishes calculators, examples and educational articles about international money transfers. The information is provided for general informational purposes and should not be treated as a guaranteed transaction quote.
We work to make calculations understandable and useful, but any output is only as accurate as the inputs and assumptions used.
No Financial, Legal, Tax or Accounting Advice
Nothing on this site creates a professional adviser-client relationship. We do not provide individualized financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice.
If a transfer involves significant tax consequences, regulatory questions, sanctions, business payments, inheritance, gifts or another legally sensitive issue, consider obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Exchange Rates, Fees and Delivery Times Change
Exchange rates can move throughout the day. Providers can change fees, promotions, payment methods, payout methods and transfer limits. Delivery estimates can be affected by weekends, bank processing, verification and compliance review.
Examples on RemittanceCalc are not promises that you will receive the same rate or fee. The final provider checkout or contractual disclosure is the source to confirm before authorizing payment.
Calculator Limitations
Some calculator fields may not capture every possible cost. Unknown intermediary-bank charges, receiving-bank fees, card-issuer charges, local wallet cash-out costs or taxes may be outside the calculation unless you enter them.
Where a calculator compares a provider rate with a benchmark rate, the benchmark is used for analysis. It does not mean the benchmark rate is available to you as a consumer transaction rate.
Remittance-Tax Content
Pages discussing the 2026 U.S. remittance transfer tax are educational summaries of published legal and regulatory materials. Proposed regulations can change before they become final, and later IRS guidance can update earlier interpretations.
Do not file a tax claim or structure a transaction solely from a calculator result. Check current IRS instructions or obtain qualified advice when necessary.
Third-Party Providers
RemittanceCalc is independent from the providers it discusses unless a relationship is expressly disclosed. Provider names and trademarks belong to their owners.
We do not control whether a provider approves a transaction, changes a quote, delays a transfer, limits a payment method or becomes unavailable in a country.
Advertising and Sponsored Content
The site may display advertising, including advertising served by Google or other advertising platforms. An advertisement does not mean RemittanceCalc endorses the advertised product. Advertisers do not automatically control our calculator formulas or editorial conclusions.
Read our Advertising Disclosure for more information.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for checking recipient details, provider terms, payment instructions and the legitimacy of the transaction before sending money. International transfers can be difficult to recover after payout.
Do not send money to someone solely because they create urgency, promise a prize or investment return, or ask you to hide the purpose of a transfer.
No Warranty
The site is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy or suitability for every purpose.
